GRINNELL, Iowa The Midwest Conference (MWC) will be well represented at the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships as the conference will be sending 24 student-athletes to compete at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio on May 22-24. On the men's side, the 2014 Men's MWC Outdoor Track & Field Champions Monmouth College will be sending eight athletes in seven events led by James Wilson who qualified in the 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash, and is the anchor leg on the Fighting Scots 4x100-meter relay and 4x400-meter relay teams. Taylor Pasterski of St. Norbert College is the Conference's top-seeded male entry as he checks in third in the 400-meter dash. The Fighting Scots will also be sending five women in seven events to compete against the nation's best. Raven Robinson, the conference champion in the hammer throw and the shot put, has qualified in both of those events as well as the discus. Illinois College's Chimdiofuma Eze-Echesi has also qualified in both the 200-meter dash and the 400-meter dash. Monmouth's Emily Tysma is the top-seeded woman from the conference after earning the fourth seed in the high jump. The Championships get underway on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. and continue through Saturday evening.
